CHECKLIST FOR HOMESTAY PROGRAM MAY 2012 Print

UPDATE 17th MAY 2012

We have received the PIS (Picture Information Sheet) of your Host Family for both Japan and Korean Homestay. Currently the club is sorting the PIS, and the file will be sent to participant email address.

If you do not receive any email regarding the Host Family before Sunday 20th May 2012, please contact the club office for further information and clarification. Please take note that the information inside the PIS is strictly private & confidential and you are not allowed to share the information with other people except you own family.

Important: All Host family for participant is finalized. Any request to change the Host Family will not be entertained. 

 

1. Orientation Date and Location

 

Japan Siri-28 Orientation details

Date: 27th May 2012 (Sunday) @ 2.00PM

Location: Concorde Inn KLIA.

 

Korea Siri-3 Orientation details

Date: 27th May 2012 (Sunday) @ 2.0PM

Location: Concorde Inn KLIA.

 

Australia Siri-8

Date: 28th May 2012 (Monday) @ 2.00PM

Location: Concorde Inn KLIA.

Please take note that participant need to bring along all luggage on the orientation day check-in. We will conduct a half-day-Orientation program and participant will spend the night at the Hotel. Then on the next day, we will proceed to travel to KLIA by group. Transportation from Hotel to KLIA will be provided. Accommodation and meals are provided.

There will be a 1 hour Parent Briefing shortly after the orientation day Check-in @ 2.30-4.0pm

After the briefing is over, parents are only allowed to meet the participant at KLIA on the next day. Once the group flight check-in is completed (Usually around 2 hour before terminal gate is open) parents can meet up with the participant for around 1 hour before the group proceed to gather at the Departure Gate.

 

2. Checklist on item to bring on Homestay

 

Item that you need to bring for Australian Homestay:

1. Casual Attire for 8 days (Autumn/Winter Temp around 13-25C)

2. Pocket Money (Suggestion around AUD 300.00)

3. Stationary.

4. 1 School Text Book.

5. 1 Favorite magazine.

6. One favorite Music CD.

7. A Postcard with Malaysian background.

8. Family photo album

9. One set of traditional costume. (Optional)

10. Medication for personal usage.

Please take note for Australian Homestay your are not allowed to bring any types of food. 

 

Item that you need to bring for Korean Homestay:

1. Casual Attire for 8 days (Spring/Summer Temp around 18-27C)

2. Pocket Money (Suggestion around 300,000.00 Korean Won)

3. Stationary.

4. 1 School Text Book.

5. 1 Favorite magazine.

6. One favorite Music CD.

7. A Postcard with Malaysian background.

8. Family photo album

9. One set of traditional costume.

10. Medication for personal usage.

11. Dried Food for personal usage.

 

Item that you need to bring for Japan Homestay:

1. Casual Attire for 8 days (Spring/Summer Temp around 18-27C)

2. Pocket Money (Suggestion around 30,000.00 Japanese Yen)

3. Stationary.

4. 1 School Text Book.

5. 1 Favorite magazine.

6. One favorite Music CD.

7. A Postcard with Malaysian background.

8. Family photo album

9. One set of traditional costume.

10. Medication for personal usage.

11. Dried Food for personal usage.

HOMESTAY APPLICATION 2012 Print

Update 17th April 2012

We regret to inform that Program Homestay London (World University Tour 2012) Siri ke-3 will be be canceled due to technical Issue. For those who already apply for the London Homestay Program, a full refund will be issued. Please contact the club if you require further details regarding the cancelation.

Update 28th March 2012

Offer letter has been send to the selected participant  last week. By this week we expect majority of the selected student will received the offer letter at their permanent address. A copy of participant list will also be send to student's school for notification. Please read through all the document attached and send a reply with the attachment. You can refer to the checklist section on which item that you need to send to the club office. 

For Japan Homestay Siri 28 (MAY)

Please proceed to follow the instruction given in the offer letter. The due date for offer letter reply is on 16th of April 2012. Make sure that you send 2 copy of Passport size picture with white background as for Visa Application. 

For Australia Siri 8 (MAY)

Please proceed to follow the instruction given in the offer letter. The due date for offer letter reply is on 16th of April 2012. Please fill on the AICOL form with details and send it together with the reply. This is essential is we need the information to be accurate.

For Korea Siri 3 (MAY)

Please proceed to follow the instruction given in the offer letter. The due date for offer letter reply is on 16th of April 2012. For Korea homestay you will not need to submit your passport as Korean visa will be awarded upon arrival. However please make sure that your passport is not expired within 6 month from the date of departure. 

*If you have proceed to apply for homestay program but do not received any offer letter, please proceed to call the office for confirmation. 

 

Update 8th March 2012

Due to semester school holiday, the club has extend the closing date for Mid-year homestay program to 25th March 2012. Please feel free to contact club office if you require any further information. 

The application for Homestay Program 2012 is open for registration. We offer homestay program to Japan, Australia, UK and Korea. For details regarding the date, itinerary and the cost, please refer here or click at Homestay button at the main page.

The closing day for Mid-Year Homestay will be on 15 of March 2012 and for December Homestay will be on 1st of September 2012. Please take note that there is a quota for number of student that can participate, therefor please submit your application early to ensure seats.

 

Application Method

1. Read all the details for 2012 Homestay Program offered by Kelab Antarabangsa Hiroshima for requirement. 

2. Proceed to download the Application Form HERE and key in all the details requested.

3. Send the Application form with RM 2000.00 Cheque named to Kelab Antarabangsa Hiroshima Kuala Lumpur to our office here via postage or by-hand. 

4. If you are selected, an official offer letter will be send to your registered address 1 week after the closing date. Then you will have 2 weeks to reply the official letter and pay the remaining cost of the homestay program. (Please remember that the Airline Fuel Surcharge is not included in the package and a separate payment must be made to the club)

5. After all payment has been made. Participant need to attend an orientation program before their homestay program. Orientation day is held 1 day prior to participant flight. 

6. Enjoy the Homestay Program!
